I am a hobby home producer based in the city of Berlin, Germany. Music has been a constant companion throughout my life. In my early years as a student, I dabbled in some composing (back in the early 1990s using Emagic Logic!), but as life progressed, other priorities took precedence. Fast forward a few years and I was blown away by the incredible advances in music production software and equipment. The sheer potential of this incredible technology reignited my creative spark and prompted me to dive back into the world of music. In mid-2020, I reignited my passion for composition and production that had been dormant for so many years.
I'm a musical chameleon with a wide range of genres. My music is an intermix of influences, weaving together elements of funk, soul, jazz, hip-hop, dance, EDM, lo-fi and more. I particularly enjoy the challenge of creating cinematic and orchestral compositions. However, I'm addicted to many genres, which means there's a world of musical adventure waiting to be discovered.
The heart of my home studio is Cubase 14 Pro (Windows) and a growing range of virtual instruments and plugins (e. g. Spitfire BBC Orchestra, Abbey Road One, Albion One, Audio Imperia Jaeger, Cinematic Studio Strings, Cinesamples Musio, Native Komplete 13 Ultimate etc).
Hardware: Windows PC (i5-14600KF, 64 GB), Audient iD14, Native Komplete Kontrol S49 MK2, Alesis VI61, Stage Piano Roland FP7, Arturia MiniLab Mk II, Focal Alpha 50 speakers and an extra pair of PreSonus 4.5 speakers, beyerdynamic DT 770 + DT 990 headphones, the awesome Monogram Creative Console, a couple of Elgato Stream Decks. And my coffee machine.
I have created some musical 3D icons for my new (pretty big) Cubase orchestral template to maintain an organized overview. They are AI generated and follow my personal general color coding (like drums /percussions are red, strings are blue etc.). I am pleased to share these icons with you for free. Some may not be perfectly realistc (The AI had some difficulties creating some of the instruments, and and a few have some glitches), but so long they do their job, I do not mind much. They are not designed to be perfect instrument images but should just quickly let me see where I am and where to click.
These icons should be compatible not only with Cubase but also with other DAWs that support icon usage, such as ProTools, Logic Pro X, Studio One, Reaper, and Ableton. Additionally, they can be used in Elgato Stream Deck. All icons are 500x500 Pixel JPEG files and pretty much compressed to keep the sizes low. I will add some icons from time to time. Should you find yourself in need of a specific icon that isn't included here, let me know. I'll see what I can do. You can contact me at Instagram or Discord.
